What are titles but ways for strangers to categorize people they don’t know. If I say I am a banker a certain image pops into your head about who I am. Well here are your categories. I am married. I am a teacher assistant at a high school. I work at the YMCA. I am a christian, fairly conservative. I believe that it is your right to belive anything you want to believe as long as you are also willing to accept the consequences for what you believe, including religion, politics, and what kind a dressing you think is best on your salad. If you ask my opinion, I will give it. I will not try to force you to believe anything. I do not try to offend people but I know I will. On that note I am sorry your feelings are to easily bruised.
We are a complex people, everyone. I am sure there have been days you believed one thing then changed your mind the next. I do that too. I am willing to listen to anyone and their beliefs, but to change my mind you need very strong arguments for your side. I am not that easy to influence.
